Redsmoke was created by Lew Baldwin in 1995. He uses text less animation and requires no interaction from the viewer to tell a story of the subconscious mind using flash animation.

Mandala Critique 2









This mandala created by Juleah Chandler grabbed my attention at first glance because of her uniqueness of shape choices. The music is one of static charge and this works very well in relation to the lines and movement of the mandala.

Steven Von Kampen's mandala has some good features that are enjoyable to the web viewer. The use of the non-typical buttons are intriguing because I had to search to find them. My only critique is to maybe get rid of the frame lining the motion wheel so it can be opened up. Other than that I believe this is a successful mandala.

This is an example of net art from Ben Benjamin's 1997 site entitled, SuperBad. The idea line classifies this work as a collage. Basically ,this is a site that has a multitude of interactive graphic images that are intertwined with each other to create a collage of graphic art.

This is an example of Martin Wattenburg's ,"The Shape of Song", which was created in 1970. His form of art is known as abstraction. Wattenburg uses shapes to mimic the rhythmic beats of various groups of songs. This allows the viewer to see music visually in an abstracted manner.
